This is an image my friend made me specifically for this blog post.
Having only been released a few months ago, Lethal Company has taken the gaming community by storm. It is a survival horror game in which you and a team must board a spaceship and fly to different planets. Each planet houses a facility you must enter to collect a plethora of objects, called “scrap”, to sell to meet a quota that is continuously being raised. Sounds easy enough, right? Wrong! The buildings are vacant at first, but as you search, some unfriendly monsters will spawn. Similarly, there are also monsters you may encounter on your way back to the spaceship.
Here is my top 5 list of monsters that you need to watch out for:
5) Snare Flea
This creature can be spotted before they attack, as they are often hanging out on ceilings. Snare Fleas usually attack from above by falling from their hiding spot onto a player’s head, suffocating them. They may not be the most intimidating monster, but if they are not seen before striking, you will receive a terrifying shock. If you are playing with others, they can help get the flea off; however, if you encounter one on your lonesome, there is no way to escape its grasp.

4) Eyeless Dog
The Eyeless Dog can only be found outside. As the name suggests, this monster does not have eyes, meaning it relies solely on its hearing. This can be a great asset for you as it makes it easy to sneak by the creature undetected, although it can be alerted if it hears you talk or drop scrap nearby. Once back on the spaceship, you are not completely safe as it can follow you onboard. In an article by progameguides.com, it is recommended to not attempt to defeat this monster, “but if you want the glory of saying you did it”, it may take a large group, teamwork, and strategy to slay the beast successfully.

3) Nutcracker
In my opinion, the Nutcracker is the most unpredictable monster in the game. It is seen carrying a double-barreled shotgun as its weapon and is known for the sounds it makes as it patrols the interior of the facilities. It is deemed “The Guardian of the House” by the Bestiary, which is a composition of records about the studies done regarding each monster in the game. The Nutcracker detects its victims by sensing motion, which means if you remain still, the Nutcracker will not attack and will carry on patrolling. Once you have defeated this monster, you are able to collect its shotgun as a new method of personal defense.

2) Bracken
Brackens are hunters. They enjoy the chase more than they do the catch. According to IGN.com, you can “prevent your untimely demise against a Bracken if you’re careful”. Brackens enjoy sneaking up on its victims, meaning you can counter them by “keeping a cautious eye” and “watching your back at all times”. Luckily this monster can be eliminated. Only one can spawn per planet, so once it’s gone, it’s gone for good.

1) Coil-head
Being invulnerable and the fastest monster in the game, I am giving the Coil-head the #1 spot. These monsters spawn indoors and can spawn in numbers. The special thing about Coil-heads, is that they can only attack when they are not being watched. When playing with friends, this can be easier to handle, but alone can be more challenging. The only way to get away from a Coil-head is to temporarily stun them with a flashbang.
